Who we are
Just Sell Cars is a Chrome extension that helps car salespeople post their dealership's vehicles to Facebook Marketplace and keep those listings up to date. It is operated by Just Sell Cars, based in British Columbia, Canada ("Just Sell Cars", "we", "us").
This policy explains what information Just Sell Cars collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the extension, our server, and this website. Contact: support@justsellcars.ca
What we collect
We collect only what Just Sell Cars needs to work. We never see your Google password, your Facebook password or your card number.

Information we process but don't keep. When you post a car, the extension sends the car's details (year, make, model, price, kilometres, features, VIN, stock number) and your listing settings to our server, which writes the listing description and sends it back. We don't store your settings on our server.
Web pages the extension reads. Just Sell Cars reads the dealership vehicle page you choose to post from, and your dealership's inventory page during the daily check. On your dealership's inventory pages it shows small Posted / Not posted tags. On Facebook Marketplace it fills in the listing form, and with your permission it edits prices, renews listings and marks cars sold on your Selling page. It also reads the titles and prices on your Selling page to find cars you posted before using Just Sell Cars; that stays in your browser. It does not read your Facebook messages, friends, feed or any other website.
How we use it
- Sign you in and keep your account secure
- Check your free trial or subscription before writing a listing
- Write your Facebook listing descriptions
- Bill your subscription and apply referral credits
- Fix problems with dealer websites and Facebook, using problem reports
- Email you about your account or billing when needed
We don't sell your information, show you ads, or use it for advertising or credit decisions. We don't use analytics or tracking tools.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run Just Sell Cars, and only what each one needs:

We may also share information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business (you would be told first).
Chrome Web Store Limited Use. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't transfer it to others except as described here, don't use it for advertising, and don't let people read it except to provide support you ask for, for security, or when the law requires it.
Where it's stored and how long we keep it
Our server is hosted by Supabase in the United States (Oregon). Stripe may process payment information in the United States. Information stored outside Canada may be accessed by authorities there under local law.

Security. All connections use encryption (HTTPS). Each account can only read its own records, and only our server can change them.
Your choices and rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC's Personal Information Protection Act) you can:
- Ask what information we hold about you and get a copy
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete your account and its information
- Withdraw your consent by cancelling and asking us to delete your account
Email support@justsellcars.ca and we'll answer within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Just Sell Cars is made for working adults and isn't meant for anyone under 19.
Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change, we'll update the effective date and tell you in the extension or by email before it takes effect.
