Terms of Service
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Just Sell Cars, based in British Columbia, Canada ("Just Sell Cars", "we", "us"). By installing or using the Just Sell Cars Chrome extension you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Just Sell Cars.
What Just Sell Cars does
- It reads the vehicle page you choose, fills in the Facebook listing form and adds the photos. You review the listing and click Publish yourself.
- Once a day it checks your dealership's website for price changes, cars that may have sold and new arrivals.
- If you turn them on, it updates prices and renews listings on Facebook for you, at a slow, human pace.
Just Sell Cars is an independent tool. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Meta (Facebook), Google or any car dealership or manufacturer. Facebook and dealer websites can change at any time, which can stop some features working until we fix them.
Free trial
Each Google account gets a 14 day free trial, starting when you first sign in. No card is needed. During the trial you can post as many cars as you like, and the daily check, price updates and renewals work on all of them. When the trial ends, posting and renewals stop until you subscribe. Cars you posted during the trial keep getting price updates, and you can mark them sold on Facebook for free. Cars already on Facebook stay up. 1 free trial per person: making extra accounts to get more trials isn't allowed.
Subscription and billing
- After your free trial, Just Sell Cars costs $99 per month, in the currency shown at checkout, plus any taxes that apply.
- You pay in advance through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically every month on the same date until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, posting, price updates and renewals stop right away until the payment goes through. There is no grace period.
- We may change the price. We'll tell you at least 30 days before your next bill, and you can cancel before it applies.
No refunds
All payments are final. We don't give refunds or credits for partial months, unused time, or months you didn't use Just Sell Cars, except where the law requires it.
Cancelling
You can cancel anytime in the billing portal (Just Sell Cars > Billing). Your subscription stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, then it stops renewing. Removing the extension does not cancel your subscription.
Referrals
- Every account gets a referral code. When someone uses your code and makes their first payment, they get $50 off that payment and you get a $50 credit.
- Your credit is applied automatically to your next bills. Unused credit carries forward. There's no limit on how many people you can refer.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and end if your account is closed.
- We may change or end the referral program at any time. Credits already earned will still be honoured.
Your responsibilities
You're in charge of your listings. Just Sell Cars fills them in, but they're posted from your Facebook account under your name. You agree to:
- Check every listing before you click Publish. Make sure the price, kilometres, features, photos and description are correct.
- Follow Facebook's rules, including Facebook's Terms of Service and Commerce Policies.
- Follow your dealership's rules and the law, including your dealership's advertising policies and the advertising rules of the Vehicle Sales Authority of BC (or your province's regulator), such as showing the full price.
- Only post cars you're allowed to sell, using photos and information your dealership lets you use.
- Keep your listings current. Price updates and renewals only happen while Chrome is open, and the daily check can miss changes. Remove sold cars promptly.
- Keep your Google account secure and don't use Just Sell Cars for anything illegal, misleading or harmful.
Your Facebook account
Facebook limits how often accounts can post and edit, and may restrict accounts it thinks are automated. Just Sell Cars works at a slow, human pace and pauses for 48 hours if Facebook shows a warning, but we can't promise Facebook won't limit, suspend or remove your account or listings. You use Just Sell Cars at your own risk, and we aren't responsible for anything Facebook does to your account or listings.
No guarantees
Just Sell Cars is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and fix problems quickly, but we don't promise it will always work, work with every dealer website, find every price change or sold car, or produce listings without errors. We don't promise that using it will sell more cars.
Limit of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales, lost profits, lost commissions, or problems with your Facebook account, your dealership or a customer.
- Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.
Ending your account
You can stop using Just Sell Cars anytime by cancelling your subscription and removing the extension. To delete your account, email us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses Just Sell Cars, or stop offering Just Sell Cars with 30 days' notice. If we stop offering it, we won't charge you again.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the extension or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using Just Sell Cars after that date means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.
